Dr Hugh Milroy from Veterans Aid said: "From all the boys that we help, I want to say a huge thank you. It may seem insignificant putting a couple of quid into a box or something, but I can tell you that money has changed lives. It will change lives and it’ll keep changing lives. Thank you.".

Lt Col Jerome Church from BLESMA told us how the money they received would be spent "we’ll put it towards our rehabilitation, our activities for our younger amputees, the ones who are starting out on that lifelong road of actually being disabled and we will be there to help them."
